Well my husband's big heart, landed us with another rescue. We have a local rescue group called CAAWS (http://www.caaws.org). Scott has been concerned with our Missy since our other dog passed. So he decided while I was at work to get her a friend. Meet Heidi. She's a terrier/chihuaha mix. She's just a little taller than Missy. Heidi is 10 months old. Missy is so happy that she has a new playmate, that she doesn't even care now when we leave the house. Separation anxiety problem with our dachsie is now fixed.

Here's a picture of Heidi:

Yup, and she won't sit still. Here is a video clip of the two of them playing. The spend hours chasing each other.

Good for you adopting another RESCUE furkid - I firmly believe that two are better than one, and do help to keep each other entertained and exercised! Love the pictures - cute puppers - they look bonded already!

Awe... how cute!!! At least your hubby is more than willing to take another in...LOL! Mine just sighs... but he already knows I'm such a softy! I have a Dach, Chi, and a Poxer (boxer/pointer mix). I was recently approach by the same co-worker I bought my Chi (Chihuahua that is) from with a rescue full blooded boxer. Oh... let me tell you I wanted to take her instantly, but had to smack my own hand and say "No!"

Boxers are a handful... and that saying it lightly. They are such fun dogs, but if you already have a houseful... it can be a bit much
