When my mother-in-law lived in Oklahoma she got an unexpected visitor in her front yard. Back then Hector was only a puppy and she had to guess his age. He is a pure blood that was already fixed. He came up in her yard nipping at my young brother-in-law and eventually started playing with him. She eventually took him in and I forget how long she had him before having to give him up as she moved into her apartment.
When that happened, Hector went to her in-laws and they had him for a period of time. The elderly wife had a sudden death and the husband couldn't take care of Hector.
So back in August of 2003 we made a trip from Texas to Oklahoma just to get Hector and visit shortly with my mother-in-law. We will have had him for 3 yrs this August and he's been such a pleasure to have!
