The Weiner Roast in Greensboro NC yesterday was wonderful. I fully enjoyed going and so did my Bailey as well. The only thing is I got there with my camera wanting to take some great pictures and realized that I didn't have any good batteries with me. So needless to say I didn't get any pictures. If anyone else was there and got some pictures please let me know. I met a lot of really nice people and some beautiful dogs. But to my suprise, most of the dogs were rescue dogs. It really opened my eyes to rescue and in the future, I might consider purchasing one. Have a good day everyone!

Glad you had a good time. Sorry about the camera. One thing I learned in my lst camera class, always have your camera with you (easier said than done) that way you never miss the best shot, and second always have extra batteries & film (if anyone one uses that anymore) as soon as I use my batteries in my camera it gets recharged and the spare goes in the camera. The only problem with digital the spare battery can lose some of its power just waiting to be used. So now if I haven't used my spare in a while if I am going somewhere special I make sure it is freshly recharged.

I will definately have to remember that. I swear you think you are doing good and then bam you forget something else lol. Oh well, I had a blast but I was so exhausted when I got home. Gotta love seeing all those doxies together~

It's wonderful that you had fun! Sounds like a blast to me. What I wouldn't give to see a gaggle of dacshies playing and running and playing some more. Isn't that just the pits about your camera? Isn't that usually the way?
