Hi my dear friends!

I picked The Queen up last night, she was so very happy to be home. It seems The Queen had gotten extra treats, unbenost to me!

I saw the xrays, she was literally full of poop!

Anyway, I cannot even convey her improvement!

I had a doctors appointment today, and worked from home.

Queenie girl was PLAYING, it was so incredible!!!

She was laying on her back, and on my legs. I was rubbing her tummy and she was hitting me with her front paws!! Then Dukey jumped on her, and they were wrestling together. I cannot even express my happiness here!!

She was coughing somewhat, but she was playing!

Can you imagine, this poor pup that has been in a mill for her whole life, for what we venture to guess, is at least 6-7 years, was playing!!!

She was jumping up and down, and kissing my face off, and chasing the other pups.

I am SO happy right now. Her mouth is so awful, and her breath, well terrible, but folks, she is playing. I thought she wouldn't be even here, and now she is playing!

She has been a pistol all day, I cannot even describe my joy.

I just wish you could have seen her today, she was toying with Dukey, playing with Dottie and Maggie, and running up to me.

I wish we could convey to folks about the Queenie's of the world. After today, I believe in miracles. Queenie has taught me that

She was out of breath, but she was a dog today!

I am so happy about her. I have told her how many people are pulling for her, and now she is going to have her first Christmas, how special is that!

Huge hugs

Andrea and the gang!

How special is that indeed to share her first Christmas w/ a family who loves her. She's amazed us all. I'm so happy for you.

Sigh...... I've got a bad case of the warm fuzzies, Andrea. What a great picture you paint! What was wrong in her intestines, anyway? She really is the miracle dog!

I'll bet her stocking will be overflowing on December 25th!!!!

Hi Andrea,

It's so nice to see that sometimes miracles & happy endings (or beginnings?) really do happen.

I admire the strength of your love and know that it was you that pulled her up & out. Kudo's to you and the members here that cried with you, supported you and cheered you on.

Mark

I'm so happy (again with a silly grin on my face). This girl has a spirit like I've never known and you have helped deliver a miracle to this girl. You know Andrea, Christmas Eve will be the one year anniversary of my Punkin's passing. I know I will think of that on Christmas, but now I will also be thinking of Queenie in her home with you having fun on her first Christmas with people who love her. I am happy for Queenie. On Christmas, lets make a toast to Queenie and Ben and all the other rescue puppers that they will always know love from now on...and hope that those puppers who are still waiting for rescue won't be waiting long. I so admire you Andrea and love Queenie with all my heart though I've never met her. I'm getting all mushy now so I'll sign off with a happy tear falling down my cheek.

Fantastic Andrea! <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm8.gif" border=0>
It sounds like Queenie is going to have a GREAT Christmas! Kibby is set for a first Christmas with me too. It was those eyes that look at you with total trust and complete, absolute devotion and love (especially after we lost Pablo). So she has her forever home now, too. After 3 months of medical ups and downs, there was nothing else I could do. We will work on teeth and nails next. Rena
