Rusty is forever home!

You might remember our foster boy Rusty. There were a few days (weeks) I didn't know if he would ever leave... or if I would let him :)

Well... the day came when Chrissie and I found the perfect family for him. Rusty is now living in Miami! We got an email tonight with the following text and a few pictures too!

Rusty's new mom is a new DBB member too! Hopefully she will start posting and let us know how they are doing!

Here's the email and pics :)


Hi Bob and Chrissie, finally some pictures to send you. Rusty is really
doing well. He has blended in so well with everybody. He ignores the
cat completely which is fine. He and Sally exchange nose greetings and
Fritz has decided he is in love with Rusty. On Sunday Fritz became
totally infatuated with Rusty. He followed Rusty all over the house
licking him and giving him love bites on his neck. The pictures of them
on the couch are from Sunday. We really had to laugh. He went from
growly to moon eyed.

It has been so easy bringing Rusty into the family. Quite a different
experience from Fritz. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I
think our experience is a testament to the adoption process that FLDR uses.

Well I will go for now time to feed everyone.

I'm guessing Rusty is the one in front on the couch?? They are both very adorable puppers!! Happiness is having each other. It looks like they have decided to be pals forever. :)

Isn't it great to hear from adoptive parents! These are the stories that keep rescuers going. It makes up for dealing with all those :censored: out there. People ask how can you deal with those idiots?! Because every successful adoption story is worth it. :yahoo: for Rusty and his new family.
