Hi there! We just brought Slinky home on Monday. He was born March 23 and had been in a reputable pet store until Monday. After over a year of bugging my daughter finally got her miniature short haired daschund. She is ten and was over the moon. Any and all advice is appreciated and welcomed. I have already posted on the Housebreaking board twice and have received some great advice! How long does potty training usually take?http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/eek.gif Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Tell us more about Slinky. I'm owned by 6 month old brothers, Conrad and Finnious. They are the sweetest little boys! they took slightly different lengths of time to potty train. Finn was trained by about 4 months - he cries at the door when he has to go. Conrad doesn't go in the house often (maybe once every 2-3 weeks), but does not cry to let me know he needs to yet...
