Another New Member

Hello Everyone! I am a new member, and will be bringing home our new baby 'TaterTot' next week. He is a red w/ sable smooth coat mini, and I am very anxious about getting a new puppy - it's been a long time since puppy breath was in this house. This will also be our first doxie (I told my husband the dog was for the kids, but he's really to keep me company during the day!) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a miniature smooth Dachshund named Timber The Digger, or Timber. I compete in junior showmanship with him. I also might begin handling a Canaan Dog in the breed ring for a breeder soon.
