I was sitting here reading the post of Brooke's dear Charlie and went back through all the post that I have not taken the time to read and have relized the amount of loss everyone has had lately......I wanted to take time out and say Im sorry that I didn't get to your threads in time and I wish I could take all your pain away I hope for all each day is getting a little easier and I have found talking about very memrable moments helps ease the pain a little so if you want to share please don't be scared to add to this thread or PM me Im always willing to listen......Even those who have no loss I have noticed alot of struggles so if anyone needs to talk beleive it or not unlike my dachshund I do like to listen and lack the selective hearing that they have!

Leslie, You have a very kind heart.
I too would like to send out hugs and prayers to all. Sometimes I feel the loss and pain of others so deeply that I sit here a cry. :hug2: 's to all.
So many of us DBBers appreciate your words of kindness, love and willingness to ease the pain. So many folks do not realize how these little furkids can wrap their little bodies around our lives and hearts. I still get choky-uppy when I relive Wimpy's last 24 hours . . .
We're sure we speak for many DBBers when we say . . . :thanx:

:thanx: Leslie for you kind words. Expected or sudden, losing a furkid of any kind is incredibly difficult, especially when you have to make the decision to send them on yourself. Thursday I took J.D. and Chester over to Magic's grave and we all grieved together. Both put their noses down and sort of snuffled the dirt the length of the grave and then pawed at the dirt. I think sometimes we forget that they grieve for their lost friends as well. Up until then they had been staying up by the barn and wandering over to the fence looking and calling for Magic. After they were able to come in and visit I think they worked out what had happened in their minds and have now stopped staying so close to the barn.
