I will soon be a new mommie

July 20th is when I pick up my new baby named Sasha. Although I have had many dogs, this will be my first doxie, and I am soooo excited. My very good friend has a doxie and I just fell in love with her. Well she had her mated to give me a puppy, and my girlfriend just became too attached to give any of them up. Which after some crying, I understood.So she purchased one for me and I will be picking her up very soon. She is a long haired b/b. I am open for any suggestions regarding this breed and what should be the first steps for me to take. Of course being the reader that I am, I have done tons of research, but nothing beats the actual experiences that all of you have had. Congratulations on your new baby. Before I got my two I did not have much experience with dogs at all so It has been a learning experience since the first day. What first attracted me to doxies was how cute they are. Now I know I picked the right breed for me! I just love my two and am constantly amazed at what they do. I never knew dogs were so Intelligent! I think mine were magicians in their past lives because they are escape artists. I can't wait to hear about sasha! Licks and Kisses
