just a hello

I have posted a few things and thought I should introduce myself. I always had doxies growing up but we moved alot and didn't keep them for long periods of time. I got a black and tan male from the pound when I was in high school and he passed away in Feb of 99. In June last year I got Twix. She is now just over a year old and was 5 weeks when I got her. She is the first puppy I've ever trained so she and I are learning together. Hey Twix, Reuben and I are also new to the dachsie bullentin! I also had a dachshund to grow up with, her name was Mitzie. I loved her so much. I got a two year old male dachsie named TAZ when my husband & I bought our first house. I was 21 yrs. old at the time. He had not been housetrained properly. We ended up selling him to an older lady. Looking back on that, now that I am 35 with children and have gone through training my first dachsie puppy. I really don't think I had the patience, understanding and the resources (like this forum)to really care for TAZ like I should
have. Reuben will be a year old September 30th and has been a great pet! We had a go at it over training, but he doing great now! I am like you on wanting that second one, we check the paper everyday!!! <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm42.gif" border=0>
