She is now 11 months old and I would like to get her a sister. My husband and I both love Dachshunds and so would like to have another. I live in Santa Barbara, California. I'm Sandi with my girls Dolly and Madison! Boy do I have a tip for you! Contact Alda of Central CA DRNA.....Punch in DRNA.org in your search. She LIVES in Santa Barbara right off of Cathedral Oaks! We are here in Santa Rosa, CA (N. CA) but my hubby and I lived in SB, actually Goleta....what's a Goleta?...Most of our lives. We just fostered our first rescue, Sunny and drove him to SB from SR...400 miles apprx. We had a great doxie picnic at Tucker's Grove. My mom and dad are on Poinsettia Way off of Cath. <FONT face="Tahoma">Hi There, Thank you all for reply. Maggie is a cutie. She looks just like my Mochi. Mochi is only 11 months old and sitting on my lap as I type this. Tell Twix, Dolly, and Madison I said hello too! This is great! Oh, and Sandi, WHAT A SMALL WORLD! I live on Foothill Road (which turns into Cathedral Oaks!)just near Steven's park. Tucker's Grove is about 3 miles from my house!! I wrote to Alda too today. ;0)Hopefully I hear from her soon. I will post a picture of my Mochi as soon as I get my scanner working!!! She just learned out to 'shake hand'. She's SO cute. I work inj Carpinteria (20 min drive) and I sometimes come home for lunch for just 15min just to be with her. I'm sure you can all relate about being ADDICTED to doxies!!! </FONT f><IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm41.gif" border=0>

My bosses' mom has a Doxie named Zipper and my other boss used to have a doxie so they did not mind me having Mochi there. She's so darn shy that she pretty much stayed in my cube but many people visited during the day to say hello. Everyone thought they should be our mascot!!
