Well Sasha is finally home, she is the prettiest little doxie. She is 8 weeks old, very obedient and has not soiled once. Slept in her crate last night and I did not hear a sound, when I greeted her this morning she was all smiles. She is such a joy, but she doesn't eat very much, maybe I am just used to larger dogs. Taking her to the vet on Saturday to finish her shots. Oh by the way she is a b/t long hair.

CONGRATULATIONS!!Your new baby sounds so sweet. As far as her eating goes, she just may be too excited to worry about eating. Doxies are known for their love of food. I'm sure your vet will let you know if anything is wrong. My "girls" send slurpy kisses and sniffs.

Congrats on your new baby. You are so lucky - no soiling and sleeping through the night. Neither of ours slept through the night until they were about 5 mo. old and even now, they're up and down steady. They sleep with us so it's very noticeable. I look forward to hearing lots about your new little one and Rusty and Duffer send her lots of "welcome little girl" kisses.

This is all so new to me, with Sasha. My husband was not real keen on the idea of a dog. Well I got up last night to use the bathroom, and my husband said when I returned to bed, be careful, she is right here. I said who, he said "Sasha", I thought she might be lonely in the kitchen. I can not believe him, so I guess her new bed is now mine

Trust me, there is no better bedpartner than a doxie. If, for some reason, Sadie decides to sleep with her "Boy" (my son), I have trouble sleeping! Enjoy the cuddles.
