Oops We've Done it Again!

In 18 days we're going to Ohio to pick up the newest addition to our family!!!!!!!

Some of you might remember my trip to the Ohio picnic where I fell head over heals for a little lady called Hope. :hearts: Well, Beckie has agreed to let me have her :banana02: I love you Beckie!!! I am so excited and anxious to meet up with my baby girl again!

A very long time ago, my youngest daughter brought home a little baby sparrow who had an injured leg. She begged me to fix her because the neighbourhood cats were surely going to eat her. GEEZZZZZ, I thought just what I need a wild bird. This little girl did what ducks do, she took one look at me and imprinted me as her mom. She spent mornings balancing on my coffee cup and slept in the nook of my neck under my hair. We named her Hope. I am NOT a bird person. But little Hope stole my heart.

And history repeats itself...

See the look on my face? It says, "I can't believe I'm falling in love AGAIN".

So after September 8th we will be a family of 3 black and tans!

Nope Janet was first! It's her fault that I am getting a new pupper! :D When I heard that she was going to be bringing Hope home I got that "I want a new baby too" yearning. I just couldn't keep mine a secret for as long!

Hope is over two years old. She's just a tiny girl, about 7lbs.

I think that Oliver and Tam will adjust very well to her. Hope is very calm and laid back. Oliver will retain his alpha status which is important to him and Tammy well, it takes her a long time to warm up but she is much better at it and her curiosity will eventually overcome her shyness.
