Hello new memeber here. I have three Dachshunds. My oldest is Leapshun she is an eleven year old red standard. Sammy is a 15 month old red sable and Samantha is a year old red dapple. I am starting to show Sammy and Samantha. I have always wanted to raise Dachshund's. All of the pups will be well socialized and only placed in approved homes. I am also a big advocate of not breeding dapple with dapple. And I am going to look at participating in the Earthdog and possible field trials.

We have 3 furkids: Top Spin, our alpha dog is a 79 pound Catahoula who will be 2 on Monday. Duck Butter, our beta dog is an 8.1 pound Mini WH Dachsie who is 7 1/2. And Masse, our sweet omega dog is a 10.1 pound Mini WH Dachsie who is 4 1/2. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/circle.gif

Welcome to the baord!
I have a miniature smooth Dachshund named Timber The Digger. I also show dogs, expect only in the junior showmanship ring. Timber is neutered and has a limited registration, and isn't show quality anyways, so I don't show him in the breed ring. I might begin handling Canaan Dogs as well, as soon as I get more info from a a breeder of Canaans.
Our next shows are June 2 and 9.
