Hello , My name is Wendy Tamlyn , I raise and show Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds ..
I wanted to make a comment to Jenn , your dogs coat doesn;t looked BURNED at all . black and creams can have red casts to there coats .. you will just have to use a shampoo for black dogs when showing him .. a burned coat doesn;t look healthy at all NO shine ... and as for the nose I am SURE he was nervous and rubbed in on the bar of the crate . just antibiotic oitment will help it!

Thanks for the welcome .. hmmmm introducing my dogs lol I have a few <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm35.gif" border=0> all my dogs are house dogs I have a few rescue ones also that never found there way out of the house to knew homes lol. I breed for show puppies only but when they are older I try to find homes for them to retire in and that always doesn;t happen cause I get way to attached then feel no one will love them the way I do ..so I just spay and nueter them and they stay forever <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm35.gif" border=0> hoping to get know more of all of you .. I have a miniature smooth Dachshund named Timber. We compete in junior showmanship. I also may handle a Canaan Dog in the breed ring for a breeder.
