Hi all! Thanks for the warm welcome back! It's nice to know that you guys still remember me!

Drake is now 2yrs old and his coat has really filled in... boy is he a beauty! Deacon (aka. Dekey) will be a year on the 18th of June and he's a little stinker... he's had a few health and emotional problems thanks to a drug reaction, but he's just about over it now, thank goodness! And, Talia is doing just super, she was 3yrs old on March 4th... she's well adjusted, happy, and content... and in my lap as I type this.

Sonja, I'll see if I can help you out on the picture thing, just let me know what you need...

Altho I never was on the "Zone" board, I have been visiting this board for over a year now. It's THE BEST!!! Everyone is so caring and kind, not to mention funny! I actually had some email conversations with you about a year ago, tho. I can't remember where I found you tho. It must have been my cruisin' the web and I found Drake's site just before you got Deke. I have Lucy- mini b/t longhaired baby who is already 16 months old! Not a baby anymore...always mine tho. Who is Talia? I don't think you mentioned her. Is she the b/t in the pic? They are all beautiful!! Tell me about her?

Just saw the picts of your babies here. They are sooooo gorgeous I want to weep (how's that for a dachsie mom's over-reaction? )

D-day must be just about now-ish! My goodness! Baby dachsies, I can't imagine anything cuter. Hope all goes well in the maternity ward and all get delivered healthy.

Thank you for your support Sonja! We've waited for over two years planning this litter. I'm a nervous wreck right now... Talia's temp dropped to 98 degrees around 4am this morning and she's been restless and "nesting" ever since. I'm exhausted because everytime I start to fall asleep she wakes me up panting and thumping her tail. I've never seen a dog so happy to be in labor! Well, I'm hoping we'll have healthy babies here in a few hours... I'll keep you all posted!
