to say that I'm so sorry for not being there. I couldn't stop thinking about this little guy when I saw him on PetFinder.com last week. I was in contact with Pamela (Almost Home) about him. I know he was pulled by Liz and I want to thank her for that. But Pamela emailed me yesterday that this little one was discovered to have pneumonia and distemper and just couldn't make it. He went to the Bridge yesterday afternoon. I don't know what name Liz gave to him (he was listed as Dog 616); but I'd like to call him Blaze because he appeared to be a beautiful red smooth boy.

Irma, I know he was in ICU for 3 days and they did all they could do for him. She said he passed away not that they helped him go. That's really all I know, other than the fact that we were going to try to adopt him.

Wow how sad. You are awesome, trying to adopt a little one in need like that. There will be another one that will need you.

:candle: for sweet Blaze. Run free at the bridge, little man. I'm happy you had a loving foster mommy at the end.

Lil Blaze, tho you were not known long, you will be loved and remembered much longer than you short time here on earth. You stand as a reminder of all that rescue, foster parents and adopters alike do to ensure that one day, no dog will be without love and medical care, food and shelter, and a family to make him/her one of their own.

Thank you for reminding us, and thank you drns for sharing this sweet baby's story with us on the board and for working so dilligently with DRNA to get him well and home. And for DRNA for trying their best. Your efforts were not in vain, cuz no matter how small a time he had with you vall, he was in a way, HOME.

Dogspeed Lil One, :candle: :candle: :candle: I will send my 2 angels Max and Gizmo to the bridge to meet up with you and bark joyous greetings of welcome.
