Dear Tammy:
I wanted to thank you for the honor of rehoming your three precious babies. Letting go was hard but here a DBB, we understood. Here is an update for all to read.
Teddy is in DE with a new family with children that spoil him rotten. His Mom has an in home daycare with a few kids and her does wonderful with all of the kids.
Angel is in VA with her new Mom and GrandMom. They like the fact I called her Angel The Princess because as I am told the title fits her very well.
Gizmo, precious little Gizmo is in NJ. I received this today from his new Mom.
Hi all,
Just wanted everyone to know that after only one week of Gizmo's arrival, "the boys" are acting as if they've always lived with one another. I'm so happy they are getting along and enjoy each other's company. No one seems to be the alfa male, so that's good. They play wonderfully and are teaching each other "cool" things. They love to go on walks around the neighborhood...I have a coupler for their leash so it's not as hard on mom or dad! :) They are so fun to watch together as they wrestle and play and we're glad we could rescue such a wonderful dachshund!
P.S. --I got them Halloween costumes from Target the other day!! I know..I need a life...but stay tuned for the hilarious and adorable halloween pics to come!
Check out the attached pic...
Talk to ya later.

Yolanda, thank you so much for the update. I live to hear about them! I still miss them all sooo much. 9/23/06 was 2 months since they have been gone. I still get water in my eyes when i think about them. I thought it would have gotten easier by now, but i still think about them everyday! Everytime i go home they are not there to greet me....I still pray for them every night. I wish the new onwers would join the board so much. I wish i could see pics of them...for some reason the pic in this post would not come up. I would love to see Gizmo...and Teddy...and my Angel girl. I thank Yolanda so much...i can never repay her for what she has done for my babies. She has put up with me pm ing her often....i know she is so busy, but she always keeps in touch. She is surely an angel....i will NEVER forget my babies and i will never forget Yolanda either. Everyone on the board has helped me get through this. I personnally "THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU". May God bless you all. Yolanda please keep the updates coming, even though they bring tears to my eyes, i really need to hear that they are ok, and loved. Again thank you all, and a special thank you to Yolanda.
Teddy, Angel, And Gizmo....I'll always love you my precious babies...i'll never forget you, and my God always keep you safe, warm, fed, and loved so much...........:hearts: :hearts:

What a beautiful story. And that picture - WOW, how cute is that???! :) Inspiring that these babies were given such wonderful lives by generous and loving people!
I enjoy hearing about these three so much. I am tearing up cuz I know that TPatrick made a real sacrifice here and that if not for Yolanda this would have been even more difficult than it was. I am right with you T as far as the emotions that you are going through. I feel for you so much and I know that you did what was right for your family and for the puppers. Thank goodness for the internet cuz otherwise how would we know how they were doing. The unknown is so scary but knowing has to bring some kind of relief and closure. And a huge Thank Goodness for rescues and folks like Yolanda who work tirelessly for these babies everyday!!

ITA - great photo! Sounds like they all found wonderful furever homes. So glad to hear that. Tammy, I know how much pain you must feel and you need to keep telling yourself that they are happy, safe, warm, and well-loved and that is the most important thing for your furbabies! I can't imagine having to do what you did - my heart breaks for you. :hug2: :hug2:

and bless you Yolanda  for helping these pups find caring and loving homes. Tammy, as hard as it was for giving up the pups comfort yourself knowing that they are healthy and happy and that you did the most unselfish and loving thing that you could for them. :hugs:
