I had to clip Annabelle's nails tonight and as always, she was putting up a good fight. Then I got an idea...

Yes! That's a kong in my mouth...full of peanut butter. It took me no time to cut all of her nails!! She didn't even realize what I was doing!! :spotting: :party6: :party005: :Dancedancer05: :Dance004: :Dancedancer07: :Dancedancer01:

What a wonderful idea! In my book you are somewhat of a genius  :thanx:

P.S. I don't know if you noticed it, but you can see her looking at what you are doing with the corner of her eye, while she licks at the peanut butter... so funny:banana02:

Isn't it funny some of the things we come up with all in the name of love? :D Great tip!

Hey, at this point? ANYTHING is worth a try. Otis is absolutely VICIOUS when we try to cut his nails and I am not exaggerating one bit! He turns into Kujo!

I believe that's an excellent example of what you call "multi-tasking". :D It takes two persons to trim our doxies' nails -- one to hold and one to trim. My DH has to do the trimming. It makes me queasy, especially if we accidentally cut into the quick. It would be nice if doxies had translucent nails.
