Some breeder apparently in Cali. has listed some of her old breeding stock for sale of free2agoodhome.com is there anything we can do to help?
http://www.freetoagoodhome.com/pages/content/adoptdogs.html?record=317
http://www.freetoagoodhome.com/pages/content/adoptdogs.html?record=318

Here is a 1yr old male in Chic. Il. http://www.freetoagoodhome.com/pages/content/adoptdogs.html?record=374

None of them have been spayed or neutered http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/frown.gif
There are also TONS of other breeds on there i just concentrated on the dacshies. Thought i would pass the word along.
Thanks

Jen,

I looked at the pages the first two are Colorado not California. I'll forward the links to Teresa with Colorado Dachshund Rescue and see if they can help in any way. Of course the owner would have to be willing to work with rescue.

Jen, thank you. I've just sent Andrea an e-mail, asking her to surrender her little guy to DRNA in Chicago. I'll keep you posted.

Jen, I didn't even know such sites existed. It's such a BAD idea!! Easy pickin's for those monsters who search for free dogs to sell to research facilities, puppy mills, and dog fighting "entrepreneurs" <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm23.gif" border=0>. What amazes me about this site is all the big-time sponsors it has--DOG WORLD magazine, NBC, etc. What the heck is wrong with those people????

My boss is looking to adopt a young male to be Arnold's dog. This one could be it. Let's just hope she hasn't given it away already!

I hope they still have him ... but you know whenever someone lists a dog free it tends to go fast esp. a 1yr old... i have my fingers and toes crossed that all 3 of those doxies get into rescue. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/sly.gif Thanks for helping get the word out http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I've heard back from Teresa, she has passed on the information on the two Colorado dachshunds listed to the Denver area coordinator and she will make contact to see if rescue can help out in making sure they get good homes.

I haven't gotten a response to my e-mail about Buddy... http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/frown.gif It's so frustrating, knowing they're so close by and not being able to reach them. I'll wait until tomorrow, then send another e-mail. I couldn't find a date on the original post, offering Buddy for free, so he might already be gone. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/crying.gif

Ugh I hope hes gotten a good home if hes been adopted. I was on the IMOM msg board this morning and there was a post warning about a lady in NC that takes rescues slaps CKC registrations on them and then sells them http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/frown.gif Sometimes i just dont understand why ppl do the things they do!

Jen:
If you can discover what part of NC she is in I will make sure the word gets out to all of the Carolina Rescue lists with whom I have contacts.
Congrats on your recent success on finding homes for your fosters!http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/halo.gif
