hey everyone! I was wondering what kind of shampoo does everyone use for their dogs? I cant seem to find one that doesnt dry Graci's skin out.

Maybe thats what happened to Buffy. I used some tearless puppy shampoo that I got at Target and she itched like she had fleas, (but no evidence of fleas whatsoever) for nearly a month. It took all the shine out of her coat as well. I know I rinsed her thoroughly.
She's finally stopped scratching and her luster has returned. I'll be interested in seeing the responses to this question as well. The stuff I bought last time has already hit the trash.

I use Earthbath oatmeal and aloe shampoo. I give Dragon a bath about every other week, since he makes my skin itch a lot if I dont (I'm allergic to dogs). You cant really tell from pictures because my camera is horrible, but Dragon is REALLY shiny. He gets compliments all the time on his coat, and since I've been using it on him, he doesnt seem itchy. We were using a shampoo called Crazydog puppy shampoo at first, and it gave him dandruff and made him itch like crazy!

*We* use Cloud Star's Buddy Bath - the lavender and Mint fragrance, and then we use the conditioner. Then, out comes the Unicoat spray-in conditioner - which is also used between times to freshen her scent and her coat... I can't say Brekke is very shiny, but since chocolate tan is a dilute coat, I am going for the gorgeousness of her little royal highness! :D

Earthbath, always. It's my favourite shampoo. Right now I'm using the Oatmeal and Aloe one. Before that I used the Mango Tango. I always dilute it too, to make it last longer and because I feel it's better for them if it's diluted.

I use Buddy Wash, both the shampoo and conditioner. It's all natural ingredients and smells REALLY GOOD! It's the only shampoo I've used that actually makes my dogs smell good for more than a half hour! lol. Plus it makes their coats look and feel so much better than any other shampoo I've used :)

We use 8 in 1's Natural Oatmeal Shampoo, Vanilla scent for Bobbie...We only bathe her once every 3 months to avoid drying her skin. And we come her often with a flea comb (just in case!) and I've read that that adds to the luster of her coat.

I have always used BioGroom for Bailey. It smells really fresh and it doesn't seem to dry out his skin. We also used it on our bassett hound mix and she didn't smell like a bassett anymore lol. Now to me that is a good shampoo lol.

Tropiclean oatmeal shampoo, we love it...for that reason, it doesn't dry him out even in these dry, dry winters.

I do not use people products on dogs because it's bad for their skin. ;) I have a gallon jug of "Yucca" shampoo for my guys which I still have to use one day......... so far only Rodney had to have a bath after a day in a manure pile.
