Their futures so bright....I gotta wear shades!<IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm11.gif" border=0> LOL Hang in there Jen, sometimes it gets really really political out there and sometimes the lesser dog wins due to the person at the end of the lead. Sometimes the puppers need x-tra time to grow up and mature. I like to get them out there young, even if too immature. When they mature and are ready to start winning......they know what they are doing and you learn how best to present them. Anyway...Your girls are CUTE. Good Luck showing them. Maybe I will get to meet you at a show.

Beckie,
Yep as with anything unfortantly there is always the good, the bad and the ugly.
We are going to start will this fun match then we will see from there how they accept the whole idea and what we need to work on with them. My main reason to start early is socialization, and fun. If neither of them enjoy showing thats fine with me http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif Hopefully they will both enjoy it and do well and i won't get any gray hairs ... but somehow i don't think that will be the case...LOL (looking at Lil Sweeeeet Nora)
Thanks
Jen

Wow it's been a long time since I have seen a picture of Nora! She's getting so big! Just like Timber but with shorter legs. And who's Sarah? You have to tell me the names of all your dogs because I am getting really confused!
Good luck at the fun match. When I started out in showing I never entered a match and fortunely Timber enjoyed himself. However, he was 10 months old then. Timber's still a little brat in the ring sometimes, but it all depends on how you react to the situation and you handle it. I got my second 1st Place win because I was able to get Timber under control.
I have a show on Saturday. 8 novice jrs, but every handler almost never shows up. Since I'm not showing an breed of course, I get to watch the 13 smooth Dachshunds. Just ONE more win to go until I get to open junior. Jen, do you think you might go to the nationals in April in Wisconsin? I will most likely be going!!!

Hey Tiff,
Thats actually not a new picture of Nora she was about 10 or 11wks in that one. Shes a mouth thats for sure http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gifI got a new digi cam im trying to figure it out i will take some better pictures as soon as i do http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
Sarah is the little female that i have been waitting for i co-own her George and Sherry Howes.
I'm glad to hear you are still at it with Timber sounds like you really enjoy it who knows someday you might be the next Carlos http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
Anyways yes we will be at the show in Wisc. are you going? I doubt i bring any dogs with me though both my pups will still be young and thats a big show and we would have to fly and everything i think it would be alot on a puppy http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/frown.gif So we will stick to show within driving distance unless George wants to take her somewhere... i also have a lil boy who i can't leave for long peroids of time because of school and stuff you know http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif Im only going to be there over the weekend from Fri. to Sun night... a couple of friends are comming with us so it will be like a mini vacation http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

I will be at the nationals on the friday as long as I get a ride. My dad said he would but you never know with work and stuff. Since I turn 14 like 2 weeks before the show, I have to enter in a senior class, hopefully open. I just need 1 more win!!!!!!
