I found the link to that last year when Copper died. I can't tell you how many hours I spent sitting here at the computer watching it and crying my eyes out. I go back and watch it from time to time now. It's beautiful.

That was beautiful, but it made my heart hurt. It's a reminder that the pain is always there below the surface. I miss my best friend all over again. I know this is a dachshund forum but I'm going to post her picture so that you can all see the greatest friend I ever had. She embodied the very meaning of unconditional love.

I just sent this to my aunt. Her dachshund, Barney, died last week suddenly and she is understandably devastated. She thinks it may have been from his food. Everyone say a prayer for little Barney. And please be very careful what you give your dog to eat.

I'm so sorry about Barney! I wish it was easier (and cheaper) to find out why dogs are dying!!! :candle: :candle: :candle: for Barney! And :hug2: :hug2: for your aunt.

My mom told me to do an Autopsy on a dog, they have to cut the dogs head off. It is understandable that no one wants to go through that horror and expense. So many people lost pets but will never know for sure why. :(
