Richmond Specialty Show

Hey everyone,

Sorry its been so long since i posted :)

Just wanted to let you guys know that Sarah and I will be attending our 2nd cluster of shows next weekend a SPECIALTY :) If anyone lives in the Richmond VA area come on by at visit us we would love to see ya!!!

Here are some pictures from the Williamsburg/Jamestown shows ... our very 1st .. not bad for a couple rookies eh :) Got 1st in our class everyday ... shhhh we were the only ones in the puppy class. Main thing is that we had a great time and i got to meet some of the judges and ask their opinion on my lil girl :)

Not to mention the fact that there is no better shopping than at the shows!

Well Sarah is still really young alot of ppl wait to show their dogs until they are a year or so old. We wanted the practice so we were in the 6 to 9 puppy class.. its really heard to win out of the puppy classes with a puppy mini female (they are small still, don't have much coat, and are generally awkward) so we were basically there for fun :)

We did get a chance to beat some other dachshunds at the puppy fun match that night went Best Puppy and Best of Breed :) Too bad it was for NO points they always show better for ya when no points are on the line....lol

Your Sarah is beautiful!! She looks so much like Mutzie. I think red/black long haired mini girls are the best! Is she one of yours or did you get her from a breeder? I am not biased at all. :D I wish her lots of luck in her competitions, but I don't think she's going to need luck.

We purchased Sarah from a breeder (who's wifes name is Sherry..lol) in Maryland. Im really excited about showing her, we have had alot of fun so far and met some really great ppl along the way.

Ill post a update after next weekends shows, maybe i can get someone to take somemore pictures :)

Hey Jen, Lily knows what you mean about doing better when it does not mean points.She has 2 Adult Group 1's now.She is only just still in the 12 to 18 month class but she still acts like a puppy ask anyone that knows Miss. Lilybelle she has a Best Bred By from Toledo Kennel Club and has only gotten 1 2nd place ribbon ever she has been shown about 10 times counting 2 matches but she has a HAPPY TAIL and untill she learns it has to stay down sometime she will be our Silly Lily. Oh by the way Jen the puppy that won Best In Show puppy at the Echo Hills Kennel Club show was a 7 month old mini long bitch so they don't have to be clumbsy as a puppy Carol's girl can really move on a leash too!!!!

Yes i saw it a Orchardwood/Paldach dog ... i love PDQ!!!

Some dogs go through the teenage peroid some don't, guess thats the way the ball bounces :)
Sarah is been doing really well at the matches and we have all blue ribbons but again we have only been to 1 cluster of shows...LOL This weekend should be lots of fun, we entered sweeps i just saw the count and only 4 b!#ches are entered.. fingures!

Do you have any new piccys of Lily i havent seen her in along time?

I hope you don't mind but i gave your name to a gal up in up in OH that is looking for a Standard LH puppy, told her i didnt know if you had anything comming up. Her name is Kim she might contact you, all depending on how her hubby recieves the idea of a new puppy...lol :
