For You all that know or heard about Tom Flynn
the link http://www.ittybittydachshunds.com/resources.html
The following was written by Tom Flynn.
He is an Animal Control officer here in the State of Georgia. Tom is also the VP of Dachshund Rescue of North America. Tom and his wife, Lynn, have 7 Dachshunds

He wrote IMP , a great piece .
Tom also gave me the opportunity to transport and foster for a few of his cases. It was an honor to learn from him . His wife and him have seen alot and continue to be ACTIVE in contributing to the rescue/rehibation/rehoming of dachshunds

You might want to rephrase that as "Are You Thinking about adopting or buying from a puppy mill "

Not all breeders are bad. Believe it or not there are quite a few who take that responsibility quite seriously though at times they do seem grossly out numbered by the folks just out to make a buck.

We, the mods and admins, are very aware of the one mill referenced in your article.. they have been banned from this site for their documented violations of Ga Law.

I was not trying to group all breeders , I was using the word 'breeder' general term ,
I applaud the reputable people who do breed who take that responsibility quite seriously .

Yes unfortunately, the Puppy mill and back yard have placed the word breeder to describe what they are doing .. P-mill and B-yard should use the word factory .

A person looking to purchase a puppy will see the ____ _____ Kennel , and ____ ____ is the "breeder" ... this article is to help can hopefully others to try to reconize so cues.such had..
"And I wondered why they would not show me around the kennel"

In general people do not want confrontations, thus, they do not try to insist , or report things. This gives links to support what they make want or need to do --- even if they are in another state.

Not everyone is has knowable has you or many that are active in the animal area.
many people who have animals do not know about many aspect of many facets of show, rescue, breeding, puppy mills, health, food, etc.

The responsible breeders do not get the recognized and visibility that they should!

Just passing along to others to let themselves have a website to pass along to those people who are not aware of questionable kennels.

I apologized if I offend responsible breeders.
