While the boys and I make a trip to feed store to pick up some food tomorrow morning we are planning on getting an extra large bag to take to our local humane society. We may also pick up a large box or bag of treats to rake in. It's just another small way the help support those who are attempting to do good things for our little friends. I urge you all to do what ever small token you can to your local shelter, or rescue people. They can generally use food, treats, toys, old or new blankets, dishes, and of course cash is always welcome. In most cases any donations you make are tax deductible.

Our shelter works very closely with the rescue groups and really tries to find homes for all their charges. Being PTS is a last resort put off as long as possible. There are some dogs that spend several months at our shelter before finding a new home.

Best Wishes to all,

Tom and the boys (Frank and Tanner)

I've been thinking the same thing. I'm planning on dropping off some blankets, a bag of food and treats at my local shelter.
