We got our Sheppie when he was 9 months old and not house trained in the least. We gambled by putting him in bed with us at night. He'd cry if we tried to crate him (we're the spoiling kind!). The first time he wet the bed, he was on top of the comforter and it didn't leak down through to the sheets. We just removed the comforter, threw it in the wash and kept on sleeping. The next time he did it, I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom and my hubby was already in bed, holding Sheppie. While he was holding him, Sheppie decided to pee (it looked like he'd held it quite a while) all over my hubby and our sheets. It was really gross. My hubby showered, I stripped the bed, washed the sheets and put fresh ones on. I was so angry, but if you could have seen those huge, brown, lovable eyes! I melted. I felt sorry for the little guy. I think he was embarrassed. He never did it again. He is since fully house broken and we don't have to worry about accidents in the bed. My advice to you is to make him potty right before bed and no water after 8pm! Maybe it was a fluke and he'll never do it again.

Good luck!

Thanks

I know what you mean about looking at those big eyes.. We never can stay mad for long. I guess I just dont understand why he did it, he has been potty trained for about 6 months now and hardly any accidents. Well maybe too much water. thanks for you advice.:)
