SHANA HAS ARRIVED!!!!!

Well, the girl arrived yesterday fresh from Madison, WI - a country girl who will now become a Brooklyn babe. She is sooooo cute -round and tiny. She makes Pluto look like a giant. Pluto has been terrific and seems quite smitten with his little sister. Shana let's you know just what she wants. She has a pillow for relaxing in the living room, my bed for a good night's sleep(she snores and makes little grunting noises)http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/sleep.gif and Pluto's bowl for her food supply. She would eat an endless supply of treats if I would give in. She's quite adorable. I hope to post some pix by next week and I'll keep you all posted.

Lanie, thank you so much for bringing Shana into your home and heart. After her sad past, she sure deserves a home like yours! When I was transporting her, she could barely walk and she wouldn't eat (but she DID grunt and snore in her sleep!!), so it sounds like loving care has helped her hit her stride!

Congratulations to the new baby Lanie. The best news of all is that Pluto is taken with her. How incredibly exciting for all of you. How does she like taking walks in the big city.
