Know anyone who wants a dachsie in northern CA?

My sister and her partner just met a lovely little short-haired dachshund named Willy. He's currently in the care of the Yolo County Animal Shelter, which I think is in Woodland, California. They fell in love with Willy but decided (correctly) that they travel too much to have a second dog. Willy is 2 years old, very sweet and cuddly, and didn't seem as if he'd been abused so much as just not loved enough. If you know anyone who's looking for a rescue dachsie in California, please tell them about Willy. I'd love to be able to reassure my sister and her partner that Willy found a good home!

GACK!!! Oh!!! I'm in N. CA. About 200 miles from Woodland. How I'd LOVE to have another doxie, but 'fraid my condo rules just do not permit it and I'm 'fraid hubby would take a walk if I brought in yet another l'il hound dawg. Hope he finds a home and QUICK!!!

Unfortunately Woodland is about 8 hours from Camarillo, but it would be WONDERFUL if you could arrange to meet him somehow. My sister was totally carried away with him!
