Dora has an unusual coat and coloring. I've always wondered how she turned out this way. I know the breeder...who mated her dappled red, smooth "tweenie" (?), one blue eye, one brown eye.... with her black/tan mini boy. THe parents aren't related.
Dora is red dappled. Her spots are darker brown while the rest of her is red. She has markings of white on her though, too.
Her two back feet have white spots on both feet at the end of her toes. She has a white tip on the end of her tail and she has a large white spot/star on her chest...breast bone.
Both her eyes are blue.
She is 14 months old and is weighing in at 14 pounds but doesn't appear to be overweight...She is very very long, has very very long ears and a long nose with a bit of squarish shape (instead of a pointy nose).
I've had people ask if she sees okay...and I can only assume she is fine with her sight since she chases the ball. I can ask her, "Dora, where's your baby?" and she will go get her stuffed, squeaky toy no matter where it is. I can ask her "Dora, where is your blanket?" and off she goes to her crate to pull out her blanket.
Outside I suspect she needs sunglasses since she sits in the sun on the back porch and squints.
Is she a dappled or are there other things involved with her white spotting?
