Can anyone recommend a good brush brand/type for use on my smoothcoat mini for remove shedding hair? Every brush i see looks way too big, way too aggressive, bristles way too long, etc. links to websites that sell the actual product would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks!

I use one of those sticky tape lint roller thingys.....I could not find a brush for my short hair so I just use one of those and he seems to enjoy it...plus you don't have all that hair flying around, it just sticks to the paper and you tear it off and have a new one underneath. It is also good for getting pet hair off of furniture and such.

My Heidi's onsey rubs the loose hair and dander from her. Maybe just a dry towelling? Or a baby's hair brush (I used to use a baby brush on my golden pup to get him used to the feel before he required grooming)

I have a soft blue rubber one. It has a hand strap to slip over your hand & little soft nubs - all of the same soft rubber. It molds to the shape of their body & they come running when I pick it up. I massage them when I'm done. This is a morning ritual at our house.
I believe I bought it at PetSmart when they were babies.

I use a zoom groom on Dragon, and my cat. It works great for pulling off dead hair gently.

It works great. Just lightly run it over the coat, you dont need to press. All the hair sticks to the nubs like static, and you just rinse it off. :Sun2:

Definitely, the Kong Zoom Groom. Doxies love it! Nice rubber nubs that are sooo gentle but do a good job. Petsmart has it - $10-ish.
