I have recently found these toys while at shows and now I know PetSmart sells them too. They come in a multitude variety of critters and even in numerous sizes...here is the kicker and what makes them sooooo special...stuffing, there is none, at least not in the body area, some legs may have just a tish of stuffing but my dachsie have never found it. They have velcro openings and usually come with an extra squeeker, the larger toys...I bought a 4 foot snake that has squeekers at each end, they come with a 5 pack of replaceable squeekers. The Dachsies LOVE them. I have yet to see the replacement squeeker sleeves at Petsmart but I get them at dog shows, I even look for cheaper squeekers that are sold seperately at shows. My puppers kill the squeekers pretty quickly. I wash them in the washing machine, I have so many little snakes and chipmunks that I can't even begin to count them all, if they kill the squeeker I put the toy through the washing machine replace the squeeker and give it back to them...it is like a brand new toy! I did find a snake that was completely killed, they had chewed a hole through the side of the head that actually holds the squeeker, I have also noticed that the squirrel and Chipmunk tails do loose a considerable amount of fur during play. Still these are GREAT toys that you can use over and over again. It beats what I found in my yard from one of those BIG wart hog honkers....it was SNOW in August, the dogs had a blast but it wasn't nearly as fun to pick up all those little balls of stuffing and just when you think you found all of the stuffing, somehow the dogs find even more of it....LOL:eek: :eek:
