I need several dog-sitters!

OK, we're just 2 weeks from our long vacation down to New Jersey and to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. But I am soliciting the help of all of you here on the DBB!

The Weinerdogs are staying at the Bear Brook Kennel in Brewer, Maine. Well, they actually have a webcam in each of the "presidential suites" that they are staying in. So what do I need?

I want you guys to check each and every day at how our gang is doing in the Kennel and report back to me on the board how they are doing!

Yes, it looks like a Lab is currently staying in suite #2. The room looks small, but there is an outside area that is 2 times the size of the inside area, and they have access to this all day. Our guys love it!

The gang gets dropped of 2 weeks from today, on October 18th.

I love this kennel. They are affiliated with my vet, which is right around the corner. They really take care of our guys when we leave them there.

My, my! The presidential suite!! I couldn't resist taking a peek. They look happy and active. There is a blanket on the floor in camera one room. Otis would definitely no be without a blanket to snuggle under! lol

Apparently only 1 person at a time can watch (got an error message about it). Also when I finally got in, they're still photos, not action. Because I couldn't see them moving around, I can't honestly say how your dogs were doing.

Looks like everyone is doing well....I was suprised to see Sadie moved...it seemed like she did nto move fore hours. Spartacus, Johanna, and PorkChop all seem to be having lots of fun in camera 2

Now for the Party Animals Willy, Riley, Auggie and Kebo are all well....they draged part of the blanket out the door....bet they are out in the yard catching some sun rays....they are very active...they are in and out.

probably not much time left to watch since it will be getting dark soon and the cameras don't seem to work then.

All is well I saw Buddy at the Kennel door barking then Willy Joined him...no sign of the others. The Kennel must have just been cleaned it is empty of everything but a doxie the rest must be outside

6:59 am, PDT, FINALLY! I was able to see them. Still pictures, not video, but I was able to see the kids :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Everything is just fine, event though not all of them were visible. Johanna is looking out the door, as if something is catching her attention, otherwise everybody is fine.

I thought there was something wrong with my computer!! It felt good to finally see the babies.

The Party Pad you never know who you will see...I still can't figure which one of the 2 (Kebo or Riley) is the leg lifter LOl....I see them lift thier leg a lot esp when leaving the Kennel LOL gotta love that doxie behavior.

Everyone is up this morning, even Sadie is out of bed :faint: Pork Chop and Johanna are wheeling about and the gang in Camera 1 seem to have found something interesting to watch outside. Spartacus is wagging his tail so hard, it is just a blurr in the still picture. I think someone is coming, they are all at the gate in Camera 2 (except Sadie, no sign of her, must be outside).

WOW!! I have been reading this thread for like 20 minutes! Yes, our gang returned home today. Thank you to everyone for watching after our weinerdogs!

We had a great time on vacation, but maybe you guys had just as great a time!

I will post photos later. We took over 1200 photos, many involving beaches and lighthouses.

I want to thank Kaity for suggesting the La Quinta inn in Virginia Beach. It was a great place!

I am having some weenie withdrawal. It was fun watching them all day. I just kept the windows open on my puter and refreshed each time I needed a pick me up. It made me feel like I had weenies here at work with me (with a little less noise). Maybe we could chip in and get Paul a camera for home. Or maybe I should get one for my house to watch Minnie and Harley while I am away. But I have a feeling it would very much resemble Sadie's daytime activities. I just can't get over how much the wheelie wonders were always out running around. They are both so active. Miss you babies. Tell mum and pop to post pics of you now that you're back home. Kisses.
