I've seen the PetsMart Doggie day care they have in Plano and I wasn't impressed. There was one attendent in there and they had big dogs in with little dogs... no outside area for them to go out to and there were multiple piles of poop on the floor. Compared to the place I take Badger to for day care it pales in comparison.. I would never leave any of my guys at the PetsMart day care. JMO

I dont like it because they dont get otuside or have a proper indoor area. But I also take my dogs to the best daycare ever....grandma!

I'm sort of a little turned of by Petsmart in Tucson Az, they had a english bulldog puppy die while grooming. I wonder how long their groomers train before being hired.

Wow. All I know is that our petsmart here is fabulous to say the least. Every staff member I've run into is very knowledgable in their area, their trainers are top-notch and they're always fussing over Belle when I bring her in.

My guess, is that it is like any large retail entity. It all depends on the management at that particular location.

I worked for Best Buy for a long time, according to corporate we have the same policies company wide, however the difference between how things were handled at the two different locations I worked at was night and day. One was superb, very professional and accomodating to staff, and customers. The other I was ashamed to say I worked at.

My question is if she was staying overnight in a motel, why wasn't the pup there with her? Mine stay with me when I travel.

I'm interested to hear people's opinions about the new PetSmart Daycares, as they're in the process of putting one in the PetSmart near me. I doubt I would ever put Heidi in one, but was curious how they seem to work out for people. I was a bit miffed :angry: because they closed a low-cost spay & neuter SPCA clinic that was there to re-use the space for the daycare facility.

Wow! That is so scary stuff! Yeah, if I was traveling they'd stay with me. I was just wondering how the daycares are. Normally though they stay home with each other, or with me, or my bf. If we go somewhere they normally stay with my parents or sister :) Nice, cheap and reliable :D

Mine also stay with us in hotels. They are not any more trouble than kids.

The daycare where Zoey goes has webcams - you can tune in anytime and watch whats happening throughout the facility. I do like that I can see the activities anytime I want.
