Do any of your dachsies do this? I just set up an interview for Chief to possibly enroll in the program. I think he would give lots of people joy that they don't receive which would give us so much joy! :) We will be going on Sunday, wish us luck!

When I first got Frank I thought about trying to get him involved. We once stopped by a Special Olympics event and he was an imedate hit. I have two problems that have prevented me from going any further with the idea. First our local theraphy group only does day time visits to the centers they visit and I work full time days so that would be difficult for me. Second before you can begin the training program you have to pass a k-9 good citizen test and I know Fran still has some way to go before he could pass taht test.

:bounce: Hooray! Chief passed his evaluation! The trainer said he is "perfect." We were surprised ourselves as he usually doesn't do his "commands" on the first attempt. This time, the first time, he did everything. Woo hoo ;) THat's our boy! We will start classes beginning early December. Chief clinched the deal by giving lots of kisses towards the end.:D I whispered in Chief's ear...(Okay pal, enough kissing up..you're in)..:lol:
