Skylar has a new name

Skylar has a new name - she is now known as Lucy. She is our zany little red piebald. She is settling in nicely and I think realizes that she is no longer going to be bounced around. As you can see by the pictures, she has been accepted into our family.

I missed another Kodak moment this morning, when Winnie and Angel were sleeping together in one crate. Thank you again, Daphne's Mom, for connecting me with this wonderful little dachsie.

I love that name!! I renamed my rescue that. Her name was Shortie before. She needed a girlie name and she was always being nosy and getting into things. I always say "Lucy, you got some 'splaining to do ".

Isn't it a great feeling when you know they realize that they are in their forever home?
