Oscar is in a shelter.

I found this little guy on the web. Oscar is a 3 year old neutered male dachshund. Such a sweetheart! For more info on Oscar, please contact the shelter. He is a new addition to http://www.critterconnection.com/shelters/shelter.asp?sid=13

Who should be told about him. I don't know what kind of shelter this is or if anyone in this area rescues pups.

Does CCDR have someone out there? Is there someone on the board who's a CCDR member? Andrea, are you out there?

My first thought was to contact Hearts United since I know they rescue many dogs from Kansas and use the Vet Scholl there for dogs that need special attention. After following the link to the shelter that has Oscar at this time I'm not sure if they would want to transfer him to HUA. If he had been in a kill shelter any where near HUA I suspect they would have taken him in an instant.
