Hi, everyone! I don't think I've ever posted pictures of my 2 babies. Sheppie is 1.5 years and Shelby is 1 year. They are a handful. They have so much energy and are constanting wrestling, biting each other, or chasing each other. If you're on the first floor and they're on the second, you'd swear a herd of cattle were on a stampede upstairs.
This picture was taken last summer! Sheppie is the red (I think he may he a sable?) and Shelby is the black & tan dapple.

I hope this works!!

Tom~ Sheppie is a large mini! He weighs about 10.5 lbs. He may be at 11 by now. He is super long, too! Shelby is very tiny. At the most, she weighs 6 lbs. There's a huge size difference in the two.
Sheppie is our "air head." He doesn't have a clue about life! He is the most happy-go-lucky dog I've ever seen, especially since he's a dachsie. He also has a high-pitched bark. I feel like the other dogs in the neighborhood laugh at him when he goes on a barking frenzy to defend his yard! Sheppie definitely does not have the stubborn, quirky personality of a dachshund and I miss that. :( Shelby, on the other hand, is the brains of the operation. I've seen her crawl up Sheppie's back to be able to reach the kids' table for food. She's very sly and sneaky. She also has the deepest bark. The neighborhood dogs run when they hear her. Shelby is the most generous with kisses. She's the alpha in her pack with Sheppie. She is extremely submissive with me, my husband and my children...to the point of rolling on her back when we enter the room. I love these guys dearly but they haven't reached that *human* stage yet. But, we've only had Sheppie 10.5 months and Shelby almost 6 months.
Sorry! I didn't mean to write a book. I love my babies!!

It sounds like Sheppie and Frank my small 18.5# standard have a lot in common. They will never grow up.

What nice pictures.. Willie is our only doxie and when you are in the basement and hear him running to another room you would think there were two of them..I think he is just heavy footed if that is possible...

Sherry,
They are so cute. Everytime I see mine in a pile and get the camera they get exciting. So getting a pile pic is almost impossible.
