just wanted to tell a dachsie named Byou {or spelled something like that}

Byou-pronounced "by you"-is a sweet miniature male smooth black and tan 3 yr old dachsie. He was so sweet when I met him! Petsmart was having a cat and dog rescue that day. Previously when Petsmart had rescue days, I always saw this person who was involved in cat and dog recue, notably dachsie rescue. Anyways, I saw a little dachsie in a little crate. I kneeled down to say hi to him. The rescue person noticed how I was saying that looks just like Timber and noticed I had a Dachshund book in my hand, took Byou out of the crate so I see him more. It was love at first sight. I really wanted to take him home, but I couldn't. I bet Timber would love to have another dachsie around!

Tiff, it is so hard sometimes to pass by those little doggies, expecially the rescue ones. Someday, maybe you could have another. I can tell you that adding another to my house was the best thing we ever did. It gave our oldest a playmate and friend and most of all a partner in crime.

Aw, that's tough. But I've noticed that you've been here reading and writing about dachsies for some time. That shows that your devotion is genuine and I'll bet you'll be working with more dachsies before you know it (almost). I was an "old lady" before I had 2 dachsies at a time. Even now I would <FONT COLOR="Pink"><FONT size="4">love</FONT c></FONT s> to foster the most "unwanted" dachsies (the old & disabled ones) in my home but my 2 are so very spoiled that they are very bad with other dogs. So we're both saying, <FONT size="4"><FONT COLOR="Pink">"some day".</FONT c></FONT s>
