Hello everybody
Since we are flying to germany in December for our wedding and vacation I need to get a new German passport because my old one is expired. The closest German embassy is in chicago and we planned to drive up threre from missouri and stay one night in a hotel, go the next morning to the embassy and then drive back. Ok now comes the crazy part. My hubby wanted his mom to stay in our house with max for the night and she would bring her dog too. Well I never really was 100% fine with that idea because the last few times she went with max outside or spent a afternoon with him, nothing went the way they were supposed too. She dropped Maxis leash several time and instead of trying to get him back she just kept standing there doing nothing expecting max to come back on his own:faint: Also feeding times were not held the way I ask to do them instead she cooked all the meat, ( thank goodness it was a chicken breast day and nothing with bones). Anyway I just don't feel comfortable of leaving him with her so I decided to take him with me and I found a very nice Dog hotel which is in the area we are staying. It is a very upscale thing and they charge 47 $ for the night but at least I have a peace of mind. They have different areas for very active dogs and a more quiet area for the shy ones ( like max). I wanted him actually in our hotel but almost all of them require someone to stay with him all the time and that wouldn't be possible when we go to the german embassy office in the morning. My hubby thinks Im nuts but I told him already if he starts making fun of me then I will sign Maxi up for the Pooch spa day which includes pedicures, Aroma massages and a doogy facial bath :D LOL
