Just a quick comment - just like all humans should be eating yougurt after ingesting any meds (especially antibiotics), the same goes for the furkids.

The natural, plain, unsweetened yougurt replaces natural cultures and bacteria in the stomach which a lot of modern medicines strip out of our systems.

Otto and Hijinx get a tablespoon a week (we used to give Otto a teaspoon a day when he was on antibiotics).

even without taking meds. It's good for digestion.

Each medication needs to be looked at individually here is a quote from the first of many web sites that listed possible negative effects of taking yougurt with some drugs.

"Food: Take on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals. If your stomach gets upset, take it with food. However, avoid calcium-containin products like milk, yogurt, vitamins or minerals containing iron, and antacids because they significantly decrease drug concentration.
