Ellie has developed dandruff..
I have been reading on here about what to do ect. but Im at a loss.. she has never had a bath with us.. only a couple wipe downs with baby wipes...
We are in the process of switching her food over from "The pride" Puppy food she came home with to "Performatrin Ultra Puppy chicken and brown rice" and I think its been since then that is has been developing... should I give her a fish oil or bathe her or what??

Sounds yummy.
It's probably just her body adjusting to the new food. I would wait it out for a few weeks. Adding the fish oil would probably be fine either way.
Puppies get a little dandruff when they change to more adult hair as well, esp. long hairs.

Maybe try treating from the inside by keeping the skin supple and not dry. My Vet suggested 200 I.U. (International Units) of vitamin E once a day. I bought 250 soft gels at WalMart for about $6.
I have been doing this for a week and Ty seems to be much better and his coat so soft. I need to keep an eye on him during the winter. Hopefully I can see this winter if the Vitamin E wil completely take care of his dry skin.
