That is a cute cookie cutter. It is much cuter than the one I have. I may have to buy it!

LOVE that one. This is the line I have, but I haven't used them in years. http://www.krittersinthemailbox.com/animals/dogs/dachshunds/cookiecutter.htm i also have the state outlines of my homestate and my dh's home state. I made them for christmas for his family a few years ago and it went over well!

LOVE the doxie cookies.

I have the one that Camilla posted. A friend of ours made cookies as favors for our wedding using the cookie cutter for the dachsie and the golden retriever. They were a hit!

I got mine in the mail yesterday, haven't had a chance to open the box yet though.
I bought 3, same shipping price as 1, so for $2.97 figured I might as well make it worth it.
That way we can all have fun with them.

A little late, but I found instructions on how to make your own cookie cutters, be it doxie, camel or something else. Pretty cool, but probably too crafty for me. :wonky: http://blog.jugglingfrogs.com/2007/10/make-your-own-cookie-cutter-from-clip.html

I've seen these on-line and want to get one, but I want to use it on clay. I have a Scottie dog one (since we also have a scottie) and made a cute mobile, but it has to be sturdy enough to push through the clay.

Tom- is the metal thick enough or is it easy to bend with your fingers?
Camilla & smilee1079 - what about yours? I really like the copper shape, but it is more $ - how strong is it?

I guess if all fails I can make sugar cookies using my grandmas refrigerated dough recipe, which is a like a shortbread cookie and VERY tasty.

Doxiemom- we are talking about baking here, not cooking, and I know you can do it! PM me for the recipe - just throw a few things in the bowl, stir around, refrigerate dough for a day or two until you and the kids are ready to use rolling pin and cut out all sorts of christmas and doxie shapes :)

Looks very cute, but I'm guessing they're made of rather thin metal, right?
