Need Help!

Hi everyone. My training question is: My 7 month old doxie, Kenzie, is constantly chewing at our carpet when we leave. I think it is because she hears our 6 week old, Linzie, in the other room. But, nevertheless, it is becoming outrageous. I know she loves playing with Linzie and all, but I'm afraid to leave them together when we are gone. If someone has any advice on this, I would really love to hear it. Thank you so much!

You may have to restrict Kenzie,'s freedon when you are away. A kennel, or setting up gates or x-pen to restrict her to an arew w/o carpeting.

I seemed to have missed a few posts here.

How is Kenzie doing now. Many people have success by sraying a little bitter apple in key places, but the goal is (of course) to have it where she does not chew on anything not for that purpose.

Perhaps someone else has a suggestion if the problem is ongoing.

Thanks guys for your suggestions! Kenzie is doing better. I realized that she just wants to be around the baby, Linzie, all of the time. So, now when I leave, I just put both of them up with a baby gate and they both seem to enjoy it a lot more. So, wish us luck!:dog:
