View Full Version : Please light a candle for this little one.
I just saw this on our local news website. It makes me so sad and I sure hope this little did not suffer. You think that folks would know better, I mean it was 100 degrees here today! At 9pm tonight the temp gauge on my rear view mirror in my truck read 95 degress! I am lighting a :candle: for the little soul tonight.

:candle::candle::candle: For the Little Guy. Heat Kills, not only Animals but People also. Anyone living in a heat enviroment needs to take extra precautions. The People that left that Little Guy in the car need to be punished, and hope they will.

People amaze me! We had this happen here a few years ago but with a child! This family had either 10 or 11 kids. On a summer day much like we are having now with temps near 100, the family had gone to the grocery store. Upon arriving home and getting the grooceries unloaded, the father thought one of the older kids had gotten the 3 year old out and the kids thought the father had gotten her. (The mother was on a trip in Europe.) Three hours later they realized that she wasn't in the house! They found her dead strapped in her car seat. I don't know about you but with that many kids I would be doing head counts constantly!

Agreed. A friend of the family left their dachshund in the van for not long at all and the same thing happened. He has a child in a wheelchair and the dog was sleeping in the van and he just completely forgot and went in the house. By the time he came back out, it was too late. Some people are idiots, but sometimes it's just an awful tragedy. :hissyfit:
