I don't know if this is a "brag" but does anyone else's dachsie have ears that do this constantly?

Willow's ears are almost always turned back (inside out) - Sometimes one, sometimes the other and sometimes both!

Some days go by without a rightside out ear in sight! She just plain looks silly! But she doesn't even notice. I guess it will help keep her from getting "floppy ear" ickies. (That is a medical term, by the way. Its ok if you don't know what it means. :) ) They get plenty of fresh air!

What a great pic!! Charlie's ear's do the same thing; I always catch myself flipping them back over at times:D It doesn't seem to bother him at all; plus it is good for them to get some air in them ear's..LOL

One ear flopped over = The french beret
Both ears flopped over = the Ferengi dog (Star Trek reference)

We always seem to have a few ears flipped back around here too. During the summer I leave them... figure it's good to air them out. In the winter I 'fix' them to keep the little weenie ears warm!!

Lately, I've noticed that whenever it rains (it doesn't snow here), Juney will go out to the patio and stand watching the rain, and one ear is always flipped backwards.

Also, when she was still in puppy school, her ear didn't flip backwards, but just went funny, too hard to describe. The trainer said that when puppies did that, it meant that they were teething. You've seen German Shephard puppies with one ear straight and the other ear folded over? They are teething. :)

ear that is inside out. I'm constantly flipping it back but he must not like that because when I do he shakes and it flips back out again. Silly boy!

See for yourself! :)

Willsana - thank you. It's one of my favorite pictures... back when Rooby was just a tiny little thing - I call it "I'm ready for my closeup".
Also, I meant to compliment Willow on her trim little waistline! Lookin' good Willow!! ;)

Willie's ears are always doing that, too. It is just another reason why dachsies are sooooo cute:D !

For some reason, the first time I saw them do that, I was reminded of Farrah Fawcett with her feathered back hair, so now I call it Willie's farrah "hair":)

I don't have any pictures of this but I am definitely going to keep my eyes out to get some.
