Well guys, Jessie has been with us for almost a week. She is a beautiful girl.
On her first night she snapped at Charlie. We were stunned. Charlie is the meekest, mildest dog you'd ever meet. But he wanted to make a new friend that night. Jessie was tired and apparently didn't appreciate his kisses. By the next morning she was snuggling up to him. Believe me, if Charlie (who trusts no one) is your friend, then you have a pal forever! It brought tears to my eyes seeing him interact with her in such a friendly way. Charlie's had a tough life and will probably always have some emotional issues, but he will forever be our baby. :hug2:
The girls, Tammy & Lily, accepted Jess in differing degrees. Tammy was thrilled. Lil had an attitude that said "who ARE you??". The bottom line is that they all are very happy together in the end. We gave them all a little time to adapt, and they fit together wonderfully. :bouncy1:
Jessie, as previously stated, is a doll. Tail thumping, big smile on her face & just so happy to be here. And we are so happy to welcome her into our lives. She fits in so well and completes the pack. What a sweetie!!:hearts:
