Doxie Delights sells them too ... Will'em has one in a Cowboy pattern that he lets Joey and his sisters use once in a while.

That is pretty, and such a little princess to ride in it.
However, for various reasons, it would not work for me....but I had been thinking about some kind of carrier like one of the ones they use for babies, but not where the "arms" and legs hang out, because of the back problems with our babies.
Because of my accident, I have neck and shoulder problems, so the straps would have to be fairly wide, and the weight....roughly 10 pounds, because I am thinking about getting this for use with Mindy, would need to be distributed pretty evenly. She is not likely to try to jump out, where I think Taffy would.
I'm learning how to sew fairly simple things, so have been giving this some thought. Any suggestions?

We have long winters and I carry mine inside my parka with their head sticking out. (They wear a touque of course, a knitted hat.) What I've been using for years is a plain old fabric knapsack. I line it with fleece (didn't even sew it, just cut it and put it inside) and I turn it around so the pack is in the front. The knapsack has wide padded straps and I like their little toes to rest on the top edge of the knapsack to they can hold themselves up properly. Like resting your arms on the kitchen table. I think that's better for the support of their backs.
Cami is very adorable in that sack!! It looks wonderful. Well made, and the fabric choice is very nice. 2 thumbs up!

On second thought, you'd probably like a stroller. It can hold your stuff too, plus a cold drink!!

What about getting a pattern for the front baby carrier and making it wide instead of tall??? I would love to make one of those but my sewing abilities leave quite a bit to be desired.
And as far as the cold goes i am looking for a snow suit for my Pickle as it is her chest and belly that get cold and the ones for dogs tend to cover the backs more.:flower1:
I must agree with Cami, She is not a critter she is truly a princess...and an adorable one at that...

We have the Outward Hound version and they do make various sizes for various weights.
I am trying to figure out how to put something a bit more ridged in the bottom so that Heidi is not all scrunched up. It kinda defeats the chiropractor visits.

Oh Cat!!! The third picture is sooooo cute of my Cami girl!!! Of course she is a princess....with that look she has to be! Sorry, I wasn't even really looking at the tote....I love looking at her. And I really do love how all you see is the top of her head and ears in the 3rd pic. I can just imagine her with her head snuggled in there and her eyes closed catching a few zzzzzzzzzzzzz's:0210:

I love this tote. The little Cami inside is even better!! I would love to have a tote like this. The one I have is uncomfortable to use.
