The New and Improved Sasha!!

After reading and researching all day yesterday and this morning I called my local groomer and she had an opening for Sasha at 10:30 this morning. I just picked her up! She looks 1000% better!!! So a good trim was definately called for! I am introducing them (my other dog as well) to a nightly fish oil tablet, and will be researching food/diet changes as well. Thanks again to everyone for your help and dachshund wisdom! Oh and to top it off I ordered a super cute collar for her that will come in next week. :)

Awww thanks everyone! Yes, she looks so much better now! Her fur is all even and she actually looks longer now! She had her first fish oil capsule tonight. I just handed it to her like a treat and she took it and chewed on it, licked the oil, chewed, licked, etc. It was like a special treat that took about 3 minutes for her to finish and then she just swallowed the plastic capsule when she was done chewing on it! My other dog didn't enjoy it as she did, so I will have to hide hers in food!

Sasha looks wonderful! Your groomer did a good job. She is now the beautiful girl she was meant to be under all that unruly fur :D

If you other dog doesn't enjoy the fish oil capsule, you can puncture the capsule and squeeze the oil out onto her food.
