I'm soo proud. Even with her short little stubs she can shake howdy and all it took was a lot of patience and 2 cookies! LOL!

:flower:

Hmm? What should I teach her next? She learned to sit in 1 day :)

My little guy did great with sit... took forever and a day to get him to lay down :)

I have tried rollover... but once he gets halfway... he freaks out and gets all excited and starts his "demon dog" session :)

*** Demon dog is my name for the running from room to room for no real reason. Others call it zooming :) ***

We love it when Rudy does the zooming thing. Sometimes it just happens all of the sudden, like he has some extra enery to burn!

I like zooming! We call it the running crazies. Miller gets them a lot!

It's good to know that other Dachsies do this... we were beginning to think Max had some sort of brain damage. ;)

Seriously, though, perhaps this behavior is a throwback to their breeding--maybe they're pretending to be chasing invisible badgers!

"Puppy episodes" It never fails to crack me up when one of the pups just lose it and do "wiener dog laps" around the house. Even my big dog Buddy does it, tail between the legs and smiling so cheesy:D I wish I had a bigger house so they could fully engage and go crazy. :bounce2:

Growing up we use to call zooming getting cracked. I remember on of the girls had a loop that included the kitchen where she sometimes foud herself falling on her side as she started to take a cornerto too high a speed on the slick floor. Especailly a proble right after the floot was waxed. Yes I know showing my age floor wax. I can remeber helpign to paste wax hardwood floors.
